Nokia has announced the new revamped Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB. These Symbian cell phones, Nokia N81 have quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS enabled and have 17.6 mm thickness and 140 g of weight.
It boasts a 2.4″ TFT display with QVGA resolution, stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) support and special gaming keys. Nokia N81 is the first smartphone that comes with the new N-Gage platform and as this has more than adequate storage capacity it can be put to use.
The first type Nokia N81 comes with a mciroSD slot and a 1GB or 2GB microSD card in the retail package, the second one is called Nokia N81 8GB and this has great 8GB internal storage.
Both these smartphones have 2 megapixel cameras with flash. They also have a microUSB port and an audio/video 3.5 mm port.

Last week Verizon Wireless has announced the Samsung SCH-U470 Juke, which is a stylish a swivel phone with 2GB of internal storage for music and a scroll wheel for navigation.
The Juke supports .MP3, .WMA, and unprotected .AAC music files, and the music player can be accessed without needing to open the phone. It is targeted for the younger buyers.

The Juke features a VGA-resolution camera with night mode, Bluetooth 2.0 with support for A2DP stereo headsets, and will be available exclusively from Verizon Wireless in red, blue, and teal colors.
The Samsung Juke also has GPS ability to utilize the Verizon’s VZ Navigator and Chaperone services. The Samsung Juke is planned to be in stores by the end of November, 2007. However, on verzion website you can preorder them.

Early in this October, RIM has announced the new Blackberry Pearl 8120 launch. This PDA is basically an update to the older versions of Blackberry Pearl 8100 and it sports many upgrades.
One of the major and most usable changes is this that blackberry Pearl 8120 features the Wi-Fi functionality, which was not included on the older models.

Bluetooth also is now featuring the with A2DP support. RIM handsets usually have only business oriented capabilities and had less multimedia features.
It seems with this update on Blackberry Pearl 8120 they are trying to enhance multimedia capabilities. Also the camera on the handset has been increased from 1.3 megapixels to 2.0 megapixels.

Nokia brought out a cell phone which is unusual in its looks, this is to cater to the mobile phone users who want to keep changing their mobile sets with the changing trends. A stylish mobile phone like Nokia 7500 Prism can do just that.
